| Before Yves C. Bodenmann established BIC, Bodenmann International Consulting, in fall of 1990, he was a Senior Vice President, member of the Executive Committee and Deputy Managing Director of Banque Leu (Luxembourg) S.A., Luxembourg, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bank Leu, Zurich, Switzerland for three years from 1987 to 1990. Bank Leu, now Clariden-Leu, is Switzerland's oldest financial institution and belongs to Credit Suisse, Switzerland's second largest banking group. In his capacity as Deputy Managing Director he was responsible for, and contributed significantly to, the restructuring of the bank and in the development and in the conceptualization of a new business strategy and in its realization in the areas of Private Banking and Asset Management, Syndicated Lending as well as IT, Organization and Controlling. | ||||||||
| From 1983 to 1986 he was a management member of the Zurich Branch of Société Générale, Paris, one of France's leading international banking groups. For four years, he was responsible for the development of the bank's international clientele for Institutional Lending, Trade Finance, Capital Markets and Securities Trading. | ||||||||
| Prior to that he spent six years with Citibank, N.A., a subsidiary of Citigroup, New York. Mr. Bodenmann was an account officer with various responsibilities in the marketing of the bank's products to a corporate clientele. He spent several years at the bank's head quarters in New York and its subsidiaries in Zurich and Geneva. | ||||||||
| Mr. Bodenmann gained extensive international experience in operational management and administration, risk evaluation, lending, trade finance, securities trading, corporate finance, asset management and private banking. He spent considerable time abroad in London, Frankfurt, New York, Los Angeles and Luxembourg. | ||||||||
| He holds a degree in business administration and finance from the Graduate School of Business Economics of Bern, Switzerland's capital. Born in 1953, he is married and has four children. | ||||||||
| During the scope of some mandates of BIC, Mr. Bodenmann is, or was, a member on the Board of Directors of domestic and international corporations and banks. He is an approved and licensed financial intermediary supervised by Swiss Government Agencies. | ||||||||
